About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few friends kept arguing about which game deserved space on a phone with barely any storage left. At some point the arguments got long enough to turn into articles.
We are a small independent team. Nobody here works for a studio or a publisher, and we buy or download the games ourselves like any other player.,Our approach is simple. We pick a game, play it for at least a week, and then talk about what actually happened during those sessions — the moments that clicked and the ones that made us close the app in frustration.,We cover everything: puzzles, role-playing games, strategy, racing, arcade runs, simulations. If it runs on a phone and someone on the team is curious, it eventually lands on the review desk.,We try to write the way we'd explain a game to a friend who asked 'is this worth my time?'. No fluff, no fake enthusiasm, just what we noticed.
