Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your commute and your evening on the couch equally. Battles are turn-based, so you can pause and think, and the writing is surprisingly sharp for a mobile title — a couple of the companion arcs actually landed for me.

The party system is where it shines. Each character has a distinct role, and mixing them changes fights more than in most phone RPGs. I spent a whole evening just re-rolling my lineup for a boss and enjoyed the puzzle of it.

It leans a bit heavy on menus, and the early hours are slow. But push past that and there's a real, satisfying game here.
