Casinacho Games

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Casinacho Games is one of those apps I opened expecting to close in two minutes, and then somehow it was an hour later. It's a bundle of short casual mini-games — reaction taps, quick matching rounds, timing challenges — all sitting behind a bright, friendly menu. The whole thing runs smoothly even on my older phone, which already put it ahead of a lot of competitors.

Controls are pure touch and very forgiving. You tap, you swipe, sometimes you hold and release at the right moment. There's no tutorial wall to climb; each mini-game explains itself in a screen or two and lets you get on with it. I liked that I could jump into any activity from the hub without unlocking a chain of prerequisites first.

What stuck with me was the pacing. Rounds are short enough to fit into a bus ride, but the app quietly tracks your best runs, so there's a light pull to come back and beat yourself. It's not deep, and it's not trying to be — it's a clean, cheerful thing to fidget with. For a casual pick, I had a genuinely good time.
